Scale: G

Description:
First Phase was built in 1992 and was 100' x' 10' and incorporated 3 Tunnels, 2 Bridges, and a 2% Grade.
Then came the Second Phase which was built 2 years later and added an additional 75' x 10' which added 3 more Bridges and 2 more Tunnels
But, like most of us modelers, that just wasn't enough. So, then came the Third Phase utilizing a 3% grade and one more Tunnel and Bridge.

History of the Silverpeak Railroad:
The Silver Peak Mine was built in 1863 During the Civil War. They mined Gold and Silver out of the mine and eventually built the Railroad to carry the Gold and Silver Ore to Blair, Nevada where they had a Stamp Mill. Here the ore was processed. The mine is still there today. And although is no longer operation, it did process the ore for 36 years.
