Work was started on this small HOn3 layout in October 2010. The layout represents the RGS from Placerville, Colorado to Rico, Colorado plus the Ilium Wye and Telluride.

The layout is point-to-point, with one turntable in Rico and the wye for turning engines. Trains are limited to 5 cars, including caboose. The layout features numerous scratch built and craftsman kit-built structures and trestles. Many are exact reproductions of the time and locations.
