Michael Wolf’s layout is based on his South African heritage and experiences. This is not your typical American style railroad but a depiction of four unique places within South Africa.  Michael has done hours of research to determine the history and origins of the elements depicted on the layout.

The first region depicted on the layout is a traditional Ndebele African Village. Second is Kruger Park a camp site with African Animals, a magnificent scratch-built trees and typical camp rondavels. Next is the Kimberly Diamond mine showing two eras one being 1870’s and a more modern version of mining headgear. And finally, the Cape Dutch Village.

We are sure the visitors will find this layout to be unique and different from the normal American railroad layout.
